Dr. Jagdish Chander Suri is a highly skilled Pulmonologist with over 35 years of experience.
His areas of expertise are treatment of airway diseases, including asthma and COPD, pulmonary function tests, etc.
He completed his MBBS in 1977 and Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases (DTCD) in 1981 from the University of Delhi.
Later, he earned an MD in Pulmonary Medicine in 1984 and a DNB in Respiratory Medicine in 1985 from the University of Delhi, followed by a Fellowship In Kidney and Pancreatic Transplant from the University of Pittsburgh Medical College in 1997.
He is also the National advisor for the Pulmonary Group of the Drug Controller General India.
He was the Founder, President, and chairman of the Indian Sleep Disorder Association and Vice President of the Asian Society of Sleep Medicine.
He established the First Department of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine in India at Safdarjung Hospital 1990.
He is a respected member of the American Association for Respiratory Care, the Indian Society for Critical Care Medicine, the International Medical Sciences Academy, the Indian Chest Society, and the American College of Chest Physicians.
He has more than 100 publications in both national and international journals.
