Dr. Har Prakash Garg is a General Surgeon of great repute, practicing successfully for 48 years.
He is one of the pioneers to start Minimal Access Surgery in Delhi.
He is one of the founder members of Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons (IAGES).
He started DNB (Surgery) course in Indraprastha Apollo Hospital as well as teaches and guides Post Graduate students.
He is an Executive committee member of IAGES, since 2008 and the Organizing secretary of national conference of minimal access surgery, a live workshop at New Delhi held in Feb 2010.
He is also a Convener of fellowship board of IAGES for organsing- teaching, training and examination for awarding fellowship in minimal access surgery (FIAGES).
He is a Convener of examinees for facilitating of Fellowship for Endo Surgeons and conducted the Fellowship course all over the country for 7-8 years.
He is a member of International Society of Robotic Surgeon(SRS) and ASI.
He did MBBS from the University of Lucknow in1970, MS in General Surgery from Meerut University in 1975 and a Diploma Course in Orthopaedics.
He received Fellowship from Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeon (FIAGES) and FALS (Fellowship).
