Dr. Shishir Seth is a renowned Haematologist with over 25 years of experience in Haemato Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation.
He has performed more than 150 Hematopoietic Bone Marrow Transplants, 40% of which were allogeneic transplants, including Haplo-identical and antigen mismatch transplants.
His expertise lies in treating a variety of blood disorders, including Acute Leukaemia (AML/ALL), Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, Chronic Myeloproliferative Neoplasms, Myelodysplastic Syndromes, Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia (CML), and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL).
Dr. Seth completed his MBBS from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, in 1999.
He went on to pursue an MD in Pathology from the University of Mumbai in 2005 and completed his DM in Clinical Haematology from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in 2009.
He further enhanced his expertise by completing a fellowship in Leukaemia and Blood & Marrow Transplantation at Vancouver General Hospital, British Columbia, Canada.
Dr. Seth has received numerous accolades for his work, particularly as the Principal Investigator in clinical studies exploring Rituximab for Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and the combination of bendamustine and rituximab for treating Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL).
He has contributed extensively to the field of haematology, having published several research papers in both national and international medical journals.
Dr. Seth is a Life Member of the Indian Society of Haematology and Transfusion Medicine and an active member of both the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Haematology.
